2023年10月7日にハマスによるイスラエル攻撃とそれに対する報復攻撃以降、パレスチナのガザ地区の戦況は悪化の一途を辿っています。10月18日現在イスラエル軍の地上戦準備が報じられ、多くの民間人が犠牲となる危険が高まっています。このように事態に私たちは何ができるのでしょうか。そもそもパレスチナ-イスラエル問題とは何なのでしょうか。
フランス現代思想、特にジャック・デリダの研究者であると同時に、長い間パレスチナの文化と政治に深く関わってきた鵜飼哲さん（一橋大学名誉教授）をゲストに迎え、現在の危機的な状況について話し合います。
主言語としては日本語を用いますが、どの言語で参加していただいてもかまいません（通訳はいませんが、可能な限り現場で通訳のお手伝いはします）。鵜飼さんのお話を伺うとともに、参加者が議論できる場を作りたいと思います。興味のある方はぜひご参加ください。
基本的にはGA及び本学学生を対象とした企画ですが、席に余裕がある場合は外部の方もご参加できます。

鵜飼　哲　プロフィール
鵜飼　哲（うかい　さとし）　一橋大学名誉教授。専門はフランス文学・思想、ポスト植民地文化論。著書に『抵抗への招待』（みすず書房、1997年）、『応答する力──来るべき言葉たちへ』（青土社、2003年）、『主権のかなたで』（岩波書店、2008年）、『ジャッキー・デリダの墓』（みすず書房、2014年）、『テロルはどこから到来したか──その政治的主体と思想』（インパクト出版会、2020年）、『まつろわぬ者たちの祭り──日本型祝賀資本主義批判』（インパクト出版会、2020年）など。訳書にジャン・ジュネ『恋する虜』（共訳、人文書院、1993年）、『アルベルト・ジャコメッティのアトリエ』（現代企画室、1999年）、ジャック・デリダ『盲者の記憶──自画像およびその他の廃墟』（みすず書房、1998年）、『友愛のポリティックス』（共訳、みすず書房、2003年）、『ならず者たち』（共訳、みすず書房、2009年）、『動物を追う、ゆえに私は（動物で）ある』（筑摩書房、2014年）など。

Since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, and its retaliation, the war situation in the Gaza Strip in Palestine has continued to deteriorate, and the Israeli army is reportedly preparing for a ground war, increasing the risk of many civilian casualties. What can we do at this critical moment? What is the Palestinian-Israeli problem in the first place?

We will discuss the current critical situation with our guest speaker, Satoshi Ukai, Emeritus Professor of Hitotsubashi University, who has long been deeply involved in Palestinian culture and politics as well as being a well-known scholar of contemporary French philosophy, especially Jacques Derrida.

The main language will be Japanese (no interpreters provided), but any language speakers are welcome to attend (we will assist with interpretation whenever possible). After Professor Ukai’s talk, we would like to create a forum for discussion among participants. 

Basically, this project is designed for GA and our university students, but if seats are available, outside participants are also welcome.
