We are pleased to announce the exhibition “Step on the Threshold,” curated by students of the Graduate School of Global Arts in the field of curation, starting from March 23 (Sat) at Chinretsukan Gallery, Ueno campus, Tokyo University of the Arts. Organized by students and informed by curatorial theories and individual research interests, the exhibition aims to create new learning opportunities through negotiations and correspondence with collaborators and visitors. In addition to the works exhibited by the five artists, various workshops, performances, and walking tours will be held during the exhibition period to unravel the “inside” and “outside” of the exhibition space and explore the nature of art that exists at the threshold of the boundary.
