Open call for Art Exhibition “Cultural BYO…Ne(ね)!” by IMM Tokyo.

“Paintings, sculpture, recipes, lullabies. Bring Your Own work, expression!”

We are looking for expressions of creativity and talent from people with backgrounds overseas living in Japan: any genre, material is welcome!

We are accepting submissions in two categories. The first is “Art Piece”: artworks such as paintings, sculpture, photographs, illustrations.
The second is “Creative Life”: items or things from what you do in your daily life in Japan, while maintaining the culture(s) of your own.
For example, a recipe for a dish from your own country made with ingredients available in Japan, or a handmade item that you use as a charm.

Please apply between June 15th – August 31st, 2022
Exhibition period: December,2022 (TBD)
Place: Nakacho-no-ie (29-1 Senju-Nakacho, Adachi-ku, Tokyo)

What is IMM Tokyo?
IMM Tokyo is an art project created by interacting with people of backgrounds overseas living in the community. Together with artist Shigeaki Iwai, we hold exhibitions, outreach programs, and talk events.
