Texts from the catalogue of “Alter-narratives” are now available

We are pleased to announce that the texts on online exhibition from the catalogue of “Alter-narratives” are now available to read on our website. Five of the master’s students in the field of curatorial practices co-curated an online exhibition titled “Alter-narratives” in June, 2020, under the supervision of Professor Yuko Hasegawa. In addition to archiving the show, the catalogue of the exhibition includes critical essays on the theme “online exhibition” by four authors with different backgrounds—Hiroki Yamamoto (Cultural Studies Scholar, Assistant Professor at Tokyo University of the Arts), Yuki Konno (Art Critic), Kevin Lim (Deputy Director, Co:Lab X, National Gallery Singapore), Nobuko Nakano (Neuroscientist)—and an interview with Hans Ulrich Obrist (Director, Serpentine Gallery) by the chief curator of this exhibition, Tomoya Iwata.
