Kishio Suga Retrospective, Situations,
Is on View in Italy,
co-curated by Professor Hasegawa

Professor Yuko Hasegawa of our School has co-curated a retrospective of the artist Kishio Suga, Situations, at the Pirelli HangerBicocca, near Milan, Italy, with its Artistic Director, Vincente Todorri. Twenty three representative works of the artist made between 1969 and 1995 are on view. This is Suga’s first large-scale retrospective in Europe, who is one of the major artists representing Mono-ha.
A press conference for Japanese media was held at the Italian Embassy in Japan and it was featured in the web media bitecho, with explanations on the venue and exhibits as well as comments by Professor Hasegawa.
