Parallel Traces – Curating and Creating Experimental Sound Works in Taiwan
Since my first visit to Taipei in 2012, I have been fortunate to establish long-lasting relationships with various Taiwanese artists and organizations. For this occasion, I will talk about how these collaborations have led to the creation of four of my major works: Asian Meeting Festival 2018 (Taipei Zhongshan Hall and other locations in Taiwan, 2018), Parallel Traces of the Jewel Voice (2022), The Inverted Listening of Explosive Enemy Aircraft Sounds (C-LAB, 2023), and Transformer / ex-DJ (Taipei Biennial, 2023).
