As a related event to the “New Ecology and Art” exhibition, we have an international symposium “Art, Ecology, and Our Future”. Experts from Japan and abroad will be invited to discuss the relationship between new ecology and art, and exchange views among experts in different fields such as art, science, and philosophy.

Emanuele Coccia
Associate Professor at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. He specializes in Medieval philosophy. Publications include, La vie sensible (2010), La Bien dans les choses (2013), Métamorphoses (2020) all published from Payot et Rivages. His books are translated into many languages including English, German and Japanese. Worked as the academic supervisor at the exhibition “Trees” held in Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art , Paris (2019).
